Date: 18th - 19th century.
Medium: Nephrite jade.
Colour: Celedon with brown.

The flat boulder displays the scene so that light easily penetrates the thin section of the large lotus leaf, showing the two fish blowing bubbles up to the small lotus leaf upon which a water bird rests.  The carver has used the natural colours in the jade to highlight the design.
